Situated in the forward-thinking campus of California State University Long Beach, Preflex is proud to have realized a visionary educational edifice designed to usher students into the future of architecture and building through immersive SIPs learning as part of the UCSLB solar decathlon team . This architectural beacon encompasses 858 sqft of efficiently utilized space, offering a one-bedroom layout accompanied by a living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom.

Constructed with a remarkable 3,390 sqft of SIP materials, the structure stands with 6” R-24 walls and 8” R-32 roofs, promising both sustainability and optimized energy efficiency.We are honored to contribute to the academic nurturing of future architects and builders, equipping them with hands-on experience of the methods and sustainable materials that define the new wave in construction.
